Hyderabad: M. Venkaiah Naidu, the Union Minister and a senior BJP leader, on Saturday addressed at the BJP Party activists’ meeting held in Hyderabad and held Narendra Modi responsible for the aspirations of Telangana to become a reality. He said the UPA government at the centre was afraid of Narendra Modi and gave Telangana, just before the elections. He said it was due to the conscientiousness of Modi, Telangana has become a reality. Further, he said that the election manifesto was like Bhagavadgita to them. He was poised over fulfilling all the promises made during the election campaigning by the completion of their tenure.

Venkaiah said that we are all Indians, despite the fact our religions and attires differ with each other. He reminded that it was BJP which insisted for the inclusion of Hyderabad in Telangana. It was due to the provoking statements of few leaders that the suspicions about Hyderabad have arisen, added Venkaiah. He said that nobody should worry about their security in Hyderabad for BJP would be there in their protection round the clock.

Venkaiah suggested that there was a need for the mutual cooperation between Telangana and the Centre for the development of the former. He said that few leaders have been trying to ignite reservations to gain political mileage; and added that it was not the time for acquisition of political benefits rather it was the time for the development. Further, he said that the Centre would not discriminate any one state. Employees need to not worry, added Venkaiah Naidu. He urged that nobody should provoke the people based on their regionalism.
