Why APSRTC So far, Why nNot TSRTC?. After the appointed day of Telangana i.e. on June 2, almost everything got bifurcated and all that has come in its share to Telangana have been renamed.
After the appointed day of Telangana i.e. on June 2, almost everything got bifurcated and all that has come in its share to Telangana have been renamed. Nevertheless, so far APSRTC has not been renamed as TSRTC. It has been the same APSRTC that continues to exist; and even on this day and date, the buses bear the name APSRTC. Why it is so?
In the state reorganisation bill of Andhra Pradesh, it has been mentioned that the stationary assets owned by APSRTC would be ultimately owned by the same state, wherever they are present. Based on this clue, the major infrastructures like APSRTC Hospital, Bus Bhavan and Function Hall of APSRTC that are located in Hyderabad would belong to TSRTC. The same has reportedly ignited the two groups representing two states. So far, no amicable solution has been arrived at. Also, the governments concerned are also not taking keen interest in settling the matter, reportedly. Amidst all these, the division of the employees as of now has not been moving ahead from where it is.
From the other end, the employees of APSRTC are in dilemma concerning who would pay their salaries for the month of June 2014. Of course, it has got technical implications as well. The problem may take its severe form when this matter comes into lime light.
