Hyderabad: On Thursday morning, Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, addressed at the conference of district collectors held at Vijayawada. He addressed the meeting for the first time in Vijayawada after the state bifurcation and said that it was the responsibility of Telangana state government to decide who the Andhra Pradesh students are.

Naidu said that the Telangana state government is not coming forward despite the fact that they have come forward to bear 58% share in the fee reimbursement to the students. Further, he said that it was not desirous to have differences in the matter of fee reimbursement and invited the Telangana state government for working together. He said that the TDP government in Andhra Pradesh is ready to undertake all the promises made during the election campaigning and would waive off the crop loan by hook or crook. He said all that needed to be done by the government would be sincerely done by them.

Naidu said that though they are in power only in Andhra Pradesh state, there was an explicit responsibility bestowed on the Telugu Desam Party to look after the welfare of Telangana people as well. He reiterated that TDP is a party established for the welfare of Telugu people and not confined to one particular state.

Further, Naidu said that the distribution of IAS and IPS officers is still pending. The meeting was attended by the ministers KE Krishna Murthy, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy, Ravela Kishore Babu, Palle Raghuntah Reddy, Paritala Sunitha, Pattipati Pulla Rao, Kamineni Srinivas, Manikyal Rao and Kollu Ravindra, apart from the collectors of all 13 districts.
