Hyderabad: The AP government on Wednesday issued an ordinance scrapping Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam governing body headed by its chairman K Bapiraju. The chairman and the board members were handed over the letter intimating that the tenure of the board had come to an end. The chairman's official residence ‘Padmavathi’ would be taken over by the TTD officials. With the issue of this order, the chairman and all the board members would lose special privileges, including the main entrance to the sanctum sanctorum.
