Hyderabad: Ayyana Pathrudu, a minister in the Andhra Pradesh state cabinet, on Monday said that the Naval authorities have objected to the proposal of establishing an International Airport in Visakhapatnam. He said that at Achyutapuram in Visakhapatnam there is almost 3,000acres of land for the establishment of the International Airport. However, said Ayyannapathrudu that the Naval authorities are opposing the establishment of the International Airport.
He said there is yet another proposal to establish an International Airport at Bhimili over the sea. He said that around 1500acres of land has been procured for the establishment of a film industry in Visakhapatnam.
