Temple priest Telakapalli Raghurama Sarma supervised the ‘Karthika Deepotsavam’ in the Krishna waters, with the temple tower surfacing. The deities of Lalitha and Sangameswara were placed on the tower during the puja.

The temple surfaced after 90 days while being submerged by the Krishna, as against the normal period of eight months, following a fall in the Srisailam reservoir level( which stands at 856 feet), if the level touches 830 ft in three months.

If the reservoir level continues to fall the entire temple is likely to be visible by February 17, 2015, enabling the devotees to offer worship.

A large number of devotees are already offering prayers to the temple tower on the Krishna banks.
