Nellore: Proving the allegations of opposition parties false, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu sanctioned the first phase of loan waiver and the amount will be credited into the farmers’ accounts directly on December 10, informed Municipal Minister P Narayana. The CM has kept his promise who witnessed the problems of farmers during his padayatra, he added. He explained the details of farmers’ accounts that will be benefitted under loan wavier.

The Minister, holding review meeting on development works with district officials at Golden Jubilee Hall here on Thursday, told them to identify government lands for the industrial development of the district as industrialists from Japan and other countries were coming forward to set up industries in the State. He directed them to select the government land suitable for setting up industries in Nellore rural, Dagadarthi, Venkatachalam, Kodavaluru mandals and also in other areas.

Narayana directed the officials to collect land for constructing airport and to prepare proposals for the same.
Keeping in view of the ensuing Flamingo Festival, he told them to conduct the festival scheduled on January 2, 3 and 4 successfully. He directed the officials of Irrigation department to inspect the water in Kandaleru project so as to avoid loss to the crops. The officials were told to collect land and prepare proposals in regard to conducting 2019 national-level sports and to submit the same to the government, he added.

Collector M Janaki, Joint Collector G Rekha Rani, Addl Joint Collector Rajkumar, DRO Sudarshan Reddy, Revenue department officials Subrahmanyeshwar Reddy, Ramana, Babaiah, Ravindra Babu, Narasimham, DRDA PD V Chandramouli, DWMA PD Goutami, ZP CEO Jitendra and others participated in the review meeting.
