Rajahmundry: Indian Philosophical Congress will be held at Adikavi Nannayya University in Rajahmundry between January 5 and 8, according to University Vice-Chancellor Prof P George Victor here on Saturday. About 120 teachers and delegates and 70 students and scholars, apart from 30 local professors would take part in this prestigious event. Delegates from states, including Maharashtra, Delhi, Odisha, Assam, Kerala, Bihar, Jharkand, West Bengal, Manipur, Rajasthan and Punjab would attend.

He explained that Prof Pappu Rama Rao (US), Vice-Chancellor of Patna University Prof Simhadri, Prof Bhuvan Chandel from Punjab, Prof Das from Utkal University and former Vice-Chancellor S K Singh would also attend. Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Prof Victor said discussions would be held on the aspects like history of philosophy, logic and scientific method, metaphysics and epistemology, ethics and social philosophy and religion for four days and added that 150 participants would submit their papers.
