In order to clear extra rush of passengers during the Sankranti festival, the South Central Railway (SCR) will run six special trains between Secunderabad and Machilipatnam and two Jansadharan special express trains, with all general second class coaches, between Tirupati and Narsapur.

Hyderabad: In order to clear extra rush of passengers during the Sankranti festival, the South Central Railway (SCR) will run six special trains between Secunderabad and Machilipatnam and two Jansadharan special express trains, with all general second class coaches, between Tirupati and Narsapur.

As per the schedule, Train No 07050 Secunderabad-Machilipatnam special train will depart Secunderabad at 10.30 am on January 11, 18 and 25 (Sundays) and arrive in Machilipatnam at 7.45 pm on the same day. In the return direction, Train No 07049 Machilipatnam-Secunderabad special train will depart Machilipatnam at 9.30 pm on January 11, 18 and 25 (Sundays) and arrive in Secunderabad at 5.55 am on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Gudlavalleru and Pedana stations in both directions. These special trains will have 18 coaches viz, one AC II Tier, one AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Tirupati - Narsapur special trains

Similarly, Train No 07029 Tirupati-Narsapur Jansadharan special train will depart Tirupati at 8 am on January 13 and arrive in Narsapur at 7.30 pm on the same day. In the return direction, Train No 07030 Narsapur-Tirupati Janasadharan special train will depart Narsapur at 7.15 am on January 14 and arrive in Tirupati at 10 pm on the same day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, Kavali, Ongole, Chirala, Bapatla, Nidubrolu, Tenali, New Guntur, Vijayawada, Uppalur, Tarigoppala, Gudivada, Mandavalli, Kaikalur, Akivedu, Bhimavaram Town, Bhimavaram Jn, Veravasam and Palakollu stations in both the directions. These special trains will consist of 10 coaches viz., eight General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake van Coaches.
