Under the chairmanship of party president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, the decidion was taken on Sunday at the YSRC Parliamentary Party meeting.
Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, party leader in Lok Sabha said that as the amendment bill had provisions against the farming community interests, they were against it. However, if the Centre excluded the provisions of bill with inclusion of acquisition of multi-crop, irrigated lands and social impact assessment, YSRC would support the bill.
The meeting also included the decision of MPs struggle for the grant of Andhra Pradesh’s special status for which Mr. Rajamohan Reddy said that if the ruling BJP and Opposition Congress came together as they did while passing the reorganization bill; the special category State status was possible.
