The Met office forecast rain or thundershowers at many places in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during the next five days.
On Saturday, Achampet, Narayankhed, Madnur, Nizamabad received 7 cm of rainfall each, as rainfall occurred at many places in Telangana, at a few places in Rayalaseema. Isolated rainfall occurred in coastal Andhra Pradesh.

On Saturday Achampet, Narayankhed, Madnur, Nizamabad received seven cm of rain each, as rainfall occurred at many places in Telangana, at a few places in Rayalaseema. Isolated rainfall occurred in coastal Andhra Pradesh. The chief amounts of rainfall recorded (in cm) are: Pagidyala 5, Gorantla, Yellareddy, Varni, Mahabubnagar, Nagareddipet, Gandhari, Banswada , Medak, Sangareddy Ibrahimpatnam, Kollapur, Mortad, Bheemgal, Sadasivanagar, Ramannapet, Jukkal 4 each. On Saturday the maximum temperatures largely fell at one or two places in Telangana, and fell at one or two places in Rayalaseema too.
They were largely below normal at one or two places in Telangana, markedly below normal at a few places in rest of Telangana, below normal at one or two places in Rayalaseema and above normal at one or two places in rest of Rayalaseema, south coastal Andhra Pradesh. Tirupati airport recorded the highest maximum temperature of 41 degree Celsius in the southern region. The maximum temperatures recorded in Andhra Pradesh were: Bapatla 35, Kakinada 37, Kalingapatnam 33, Kavali 36, Machilipatnam 37, Nandigama 38, Narsapur 35, Nellore 38, Ongole 36, Jangamaheswarapuram 40,Tuni 38, Vijayawada 38, Visakhapatnam AP 37, Anantapur 39, Arogyavaram 37, Kurnool 39, Nandyal 38.
