On Monday, Telugu Desam leader and AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh received a grand welcome in California by the NRIs and followers raised slogans in the TD and Nara Lokesh’s support at the San Francisco airport.
On day one, NRIs in Los Angeles and San Francisco came forward to adopt 126 villages under the Smart AP programme.

Feeling pumped up and confident by the welcome given by the members from the NRI TD, Nara Lokesh said that his visit will be not just for Telugu Desam but also for development of the two Telugu-speaking states — Telangana and AP.
Mr Lokesh will be attending meetings on Smart Villages and Smart Wards in Chicago, Texas and New Jersey.
