For development of tourism infrastructure projects, either Swiss Challenge method or Public Private Partnership mode is to be proposed by the state cabinet which approved the new tourism policy of the Andhra Pradesh government.

A senior official in the Tourism Department informed that the district collectors from Krishna, Guntur, and Visakhapatnam are being contacted to identify suitable land for setting up golf courses along with international airports, star hotels and other world class tourism facilities required in the vicinity.

The golf course is said to have 18 holes with a par of about 72 in addition to a practice range and practice greens which requires 140 to 180 acres of land while nine holes with a par of 35 or 36 will require less than 100 acres.
