Hyderabad: The Met Office, Hyderabad, forecast isolated rain or thundershowers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours. On May 31 isolated rain or thundershowers may occur in the two States. Thunderstorm with squall may occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema. On June 1 rain or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Rayalaseema. Isolated rain or thundershowers may occur in coastal AP and Telangana.


On June 2 rain or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Rayalaseema. Isolated rain or thundershowers may occur in coastal AP and Telangana. Rain or thundershowers occurred at a few places in Telangana and Rayalaseema on Friday afternoon. The chief amounts of rainfall recorded (in cm) were: Araku Valley 2, Nagarkurnool 3, Kondur and Hayatnagar one each. On Thursday isolated rainfall occurred in Telangana.


The Met department warned that heat wave conditions would prevail over some parts of Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore districts of coastal AP and at isolated places in Telangana on May 30. Heat wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in Telangana on Friday.

On Thursday, the maximum temperatures fell largely at one or two places in Rayalaseema, markedly fell at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, appreciably fell at one or two places in Telangana, fell at one or two places in Telangana and Rayalaseema. They were markedly above normal at most places in Telangana, above normal at one or two places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.


In Telangana the maximum temperatures fell at one or two places. They were markedly above normal at one or two places across the State. The recordings were: Adilabad 43.9, Aswaraopet 39.4, Hyderabad 42.6, Jagtiyal Agro 45, Kampasagar 42.9, Rudrur 43.2, Sangareddy Agro 42.3, Tandur 43.1, Warangal 43.5, Nizamabad 45.5, Ramagundam 46.5.
