Vijayamma the YSRCP Rajya Sabha candidate?

YSR Congress Party honorary president YS Vijayamma, once a woman warrior of the party, stood by his son YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and played a bigger role in his political career when he was in jail.

She led the party and campaigned extensively in the by-elections. After YS Jagan was released from the jail, Vijayamma is keeping herself away from politics and maintaining a low profile. After the general elections, she's hardly seen in party activities.

Now, the buzz in the YSRCP is that Vijayamma has decided to bid adieu to politics. It is learnt that Vijayamma is understood to have told the YSRCP chief that she has had enough of politics and prefers to stick to her domestic turf. However, if a buzz doing the rounds in political circles is any indication then Vijayamma's name is being considered for the Rajya Sabha seat. Let's see what happens.
