Talking to the newsmen here on Sunday, MLC V Bala Subrahmanyam said that a meeting would be conducted on the ‘Current Education System’ at Siddhartha Auditorium on October 2.

Expressing concern over the students’ suicides, he flayed the Telugu Desam government for acting as a mute spectator over students’ suicides in corporate colleges.

In all, 34 students committed suicides in the current year. Not even single college's recognition has been cancelled by the government. He said in the name of committees, the government has been diluting the issue.

APUTF State general secretary P Babu Reddy, treasurer K Sanjeev Reddy and Jana Vignan Vedika member CV Krishnaiah were present.
