Collector reviews Janmabhoomi works

Kurnool: District Collector Challa Vijayamohan said that a plantation of one lakh trees and creation of 1,000 farm ponds in each village would beat the drought condition.
He reviewed a meeting with higher officials here on Monday, about the works to be taken up during third phase of ‘Janmabhoomi’.
He directed the officials to drive the people to plant more saplings.
The Collector said the Chief Minister of the State might participate in the ‘Janmabhoomi’ programme in the district. He instructed the officials concerned to improve the infrastructure.
The Collector specially mentioned about the measures to be taken up for providing necessary facilities in the Chenchu hamlets of the district.
