JB only for TDP activists, allges Proddatur MLA

Kadapa: Criticising the Janmabhoomi programme, Proddatur MLA and YSRCP leader R Sivaprasad Reddy alleged that these programmes are yielding fruits to only TDP activists and its supporters neglecting the eligible needy people in the district.

Janmabhoomi – Maa Vooru programme was organised at 34th ward in Devanga Peta , 35th ward in Sriram Nagar, 36th ward in Bhavana Rushi Devalayam Road here on Sunday as part of third phase which was under way in the State. The TDP leaders, who attended the meetings at 35th and 36th wards, not attended the 34th ward where YSRCP supporter P Varalakshmi was elected as counsellor. MLA Sivaprasad Reddy flayed the TDP leaders for their step-motherly treatment.

He raised slogans against the TDP, along with the party supporters and demanded justice to the 34th ward people who gathered in sizeable numbers to give representations to the officials and public representatives.

Speaking to the media, MLA Sivaprasad said that these meetings did not give any result to the people in the first and second phase of Janmabhoomi. Continuing his tirade against the TDP leaders, he alleged that the leaders are working only for the TDP cadres and sympathisers and neglecting the opposition wards.

He demanded that the government should provide houses, rations cards and pensions to all eligible and threatened to intensify the agitation if the TDP leaders did not mend their ways.
