Visakhapatnam: One person was killed and two others suffered injuries in a road accident in the district on Wednesday when the car in which they were travelling overturned on Paderu Ghat road.
Police said a family was returning from Visakhapatnam after celebrating their granddaughter’s birthday to Nakkalaputtu. But after hitting a huge stone in one of the corners of the Paderu Ghat road, the car overturned and fell into a gorge.
Pappu Venkata Rao (40) died on the spot, while his sister and wife were severely injured.
