Healthcare for poor, TDP’s priority, says Balakrishna
Hindupur MLA N Balakrishna said that the TDP government was committed to improve the medical facilities in the State for poor.
Tirupati: Hindupur MLA N Balakrishna said that the TDP government was committed to improve the medical facilities in the State for poor.
The actor-turned-politician, who was on his way to Sriklahasthi where he participated in the annual Brahmotsavam of Lord Siva, visited SVIMS on Thursday.
Speaking after garlanding the statue of N T Rama Rao, he said that the TDP was continuing the legacy of his late father by focusing on improving healthcare facilities for the poor besides providing them with basic needs of food, cloth and shelter.
He exhorted the doctors, paramedical staff of SVIMS to strive hard for fulfilling the dreams of NTR by serving poor patients.
When asked on the reported move of the State government to shift the cancer hospital for which the foundation stone was laid in SVRRGGH here, Balakirshna said that he would discuss the matter with the Minister concerned and Chief Minister.
