Vijayawada: Demanding that government take stringent action on the administration of corporate institutions, which are filling up seats prior to admissions, the Andhra Pradesh State Youth Federation (APSYF) submitted a memorandum to the Minister Devineni Umamheswara Rao here on Monday. Founder president of APSYF Navaneetham Sambasiva Rao said that he noticed many corporate institutions on a hunt for enrolling students in their respective institutions, even before the final examinations were completed. “As soon as the Intermediate first year examinations are over, the managements ask the students to attend classes for the second year immediately. Also, they deployed public relations personnel to ensure that they mobilise more number of admissions to their institutions. Government should make sure that they curb these activities that affect children and strengthen government sector education,” he said.
