The Minister launched these new vehicles - Chandranna Mobile Clinical vehicles - at the government hospital here on Wednesday.

The Chandranna Mobile vehicles would have an in-house doctor, staff nurse, ANM, lab technician and pharmacist in addition to all necessary emergency equipment, she added.

“The main intention behind the launch of these vehicles is to bring down infant and maternal mortality rate,” she said. Responding to the problems of Asha workers, the Minister assured them that she would take up their demand of enhancement of wages with the Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas.
