He further added that former Chief Minister Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy issued GO 30 in 1994 and now Mudragada is demanding for its implementation. Terming it as a scrap, he also said that Mudragada’s claims of accusing Chandrababu Naidu of going to the court for bringing stay order on that GO were incorrect.

Mudragada joined the TDP and became MP and he should have opposed the move right then, the Minister said. Praising Chandrababu Naidu for his sincere efforts to include Kapus in the BC list legally, the Minister said that a commission was also appointed for this purpose.

Narayana claimed that Nellore would be the third city with the facility of having a sweeping machine after Vijayawada and Vizag. He launched the road vacuum sweeper machine, arranged by the Municipal Corporation at Vanathopu in a city on Monday and said another two machines would also be provided within three years for keeping it clean.

Sewage system would also be improved in 110 municipalities and a plan is under process, he added. The Govt is also planning to improve the average annual income of SHG members in urban and rural areas by 2019 to Rs 72,000 which includes 3.27 lakh members in the Nellore Corporation and 7 municipal bodies of the district that contribute 12 pics of the district population.

Average annual income of 80 lakh women is presently Rs 42,000 which needs to be improved through various interventions. Special measures have been taken to improve educational standards in 1,500 municipal schools, he reiterated. Govt officials and others were present.
