Addressing the customers, Vijayawada Urban region management officer Venkat Garikipati said that the State Bank of India had been pioneering in  technological brilliance to bring massive changes in the banking sector.

Vijayawada: State Bank of India’s Town Hall meeting was held on Friday evening at Patamata branch in the city. The meeting was aimed to promote awareness on banking services to its customers in the region.

Addressing the customers, Vijayawada Urban region management officer Venkat Garikipati said that the State Bank of India had been pioneering in technological brilliance to bring massive changes in the banking sector.

He mentioned that the e-Corner centre, which was set up a year ago at the branch, had registered highest number of customer usage and was a hit among the customers.

SBI’s insurance schemes had also garnered customers’ trust, he said. Regional Manager of the bank G V Sastry said that the branch was exclusively designed to cater to the personalised needs of the customers of all ages.

The bank had issued a number of loans for buying houses, cars, for personal usage along with loans on pensions.
Chief Manager (admin) Suri Gopianth, branch manager Lakshmikanth Rao and others spoke on the occasion.
