Hindupur (Anantapur): Minister for IT Palle Raghunatha Reddy has called upon the party workers to see that welfare schemes, which were launched by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, reach the target sections.

Addressing a meeting at Saptagiri Junior and Degree College here on Sunday, Palle stated that despite resources crunch, the Chief Minister has not gone back on his promises like loan waiver to the farmers and SHG women.

The goodies being supplied on festival occasions to Muslims, Christians and Hindus through the ration shops were examples of the Chief Minister's magnanimity and his efforts to promote communal amity.

Earlier in the day, the Minister received petitions and representations from the people at his camp office. Later, he directed the officials to solve the problems of the people who gave petitions. He said that people should not run from pillar to post for redressal of their grievances.

The Minister garlanded the statue of NTR, along with tollywood actor Nara Rohit, who was here to attend a private function. He also participated in a blood donation camp organised at Lalitha Kala Parishad by the fans of Rohit.
