The SW Residential School for Boys at Ardhaveedu offers education till Intermediate. On Sunday night, five senior Inter students had allegedly beaten up seven students from Class VIII, IX and X. Following the incident, the parents of the victims reached the school on Tuesday morning and demanded immediate action against senior Inter students.

As the agitated parents did not get any satisfactory response from principal Karlapudi Ruth Ramola, they attacked senior Inter students for allegedly bullying their wards. The principal and victims’ parents then lodged complaints against each other with the police.

However, police set the parents free after giving counselling. Speaking to The Hans India, the principal said, “Students fighting with each other is a common sight in all schools. But parents involving in the issue and thrashing senior Inter students had prompted me to lodge a complaint with police.”
