Excise officials destroy illicit liquor

Kurnool (Pathikonda): Excise department officials conducted raids at different thandas and destroyed illicit liquor seized there.

Circle Inspector Chandra Shekhar informed the media that acting on instructions from the Deputy Commissioner, a team comprising of
Circle Inspector Srinivas, Superintendent Krishna Kumar and Sub-Inspectors of Alur and Kodmur, Subba Raju, Ramanjaneyulu, Hari
Krishna and Krishna conducted raids at JM Thanda and Giddamma Thanda on Monday.

In the raids, about 3185 liters of jaggery solvent that had been kept ready for preparing illicit liquor was destroyed along with another 50
liters of ready-made ID liquor.
