Friends Jaitra Cricket Club enters knockout

Friends Jaitra cricket club entered the knockout stage by winning six wickets over Kushi Warriors in Krishna District Cricket Association (KDCA) B Division League for Devineni Venkata Ramana and Praneetha Memorial Trophy at Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) grounds in Mulapadu of Ibrahimpatnam mandal near Vijayawada on Tuesday.

Friends Jaitra team won the toss and invited Kushi team for first bating and it scored 126 runs in 24.4 overs. Batsmen Jashuva scored 25 runs and Lakshman scored 22 runs. Replying that Jaitra team reached target 127 runs for loss of four wickets and entered the knockout stage. K Arun Kumar scored 44 runs and Doondi Prasad scored 27 runs helped in team winning.

In second match Vasista cc won the match by 72 runs lead against SC Railway B team. Vasista cc scored 160 runs for loss of eight wickets in stipulated 25 overs. Batsman Pavan made half century (54 runs in 28 balls) helped to team big scored. Later, SC Railwy B team all out for 88 runs in 21.4 overs. Vasista bowler Durga Prasad took four wickets by giving 26 runs.

In third match Kondapalli team won over Madhuranagar team by 117 runs lead. Kondapalli team scored 186 runs for 9 wickets loss in 20 overs and Ranith made half century (65) helped to big team big score. Later, Madhuranagar team all out for 68 runs in 14.3 overs.
