Kakinada: The BJP-led NDA will celebrate its three years completion of office on June 13 and as part of these celebrations, 20 ministers will visit Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to media persons here at R & B guest house on Monday, party MLC and National EC member Somu Veerraju said that as part of these celebrations, union minister M Nirmala Sitaraman will visit East Godavari on June 13.

He said that the party core committee will net at Visakhapatnam on 2 and 3 of June to finalise the modalities and arrangements for the conduct of party national executive committee meet to be conducted at the same place on 15 and 16 of July.


“As Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party national president Amit Shah will be attending this national EC meet, we are making special arrangements for mobilisation of people in large numbers,” Somu said. As part of strengthening the party in Andhra Pradesh, the MLC said that Amit Shah will be on a three-day visit on 25, 26 and 27 of August and meet polling booth representatives at Vijayawada. The party president will also visit Rayalaseema districts including Chittoor and Nellore at a later date on similar assignment on those areas.

We are making all our efforts to strengthen the party in AP, the MLC disclosed.On the comments of some Congress leaders alleging the failure of BJP to get SCS to the state, the BJP leader challenged the propagation and said that it is the failure of Congress party to pass the bill in Parliament which led to present situation. Had they acted in accordance to the needs then by passing the bill, things would have been different now, he said.

They are trying to foist their failures on other parties simply to divert the public attention the BJP leader felt.
