The CBI and Railway Vigilance teams raided on canteens of Eluru, Tadepalligudem and Nidadavole railway stations on Friday, following the numerous complaints on the quality of food being sold in the canteens.
Eluru: The CBI and Railway Vigilance teams raided on canteens of Eluru, Tadepalligudem and Nidadavole railway stations on Friday, following the numerous complaints on the quality of food being sold in the canteens.
The CBI team led by CI K Venkateswara Rao, IJBS Rao, Railway Vigilance CI Srinivas and another two teams reached Eluru station while other two teams went to raid the canteens of Nidadavole and Tadepalligudem stations.
Officials said that there were many complaints against the food sold in canteens of Eluru, Tadepalligudem and Nidadavole stations. It was revealed that stale food was being sold out in these canteens.
