With a vision to create a strong (Internet of Things) IoT ecosystem, iB Hubs, a PAN-India startup hub and AP Innovation Society (APIS) have started a three-day training programme at Sir CR Reddy Engineering College here on Thursday for the engineering students. Over 90 students from various engineering colleges in Eluru have attended this programme.

Eluru: With a vision to create a strong (Internet of Things) IoT ecosystem, iB Hubs, a PAN-India startup hub and AP Innovation Society (APIS) have started a three-day training programme at Sir CR Reddy Engineering College here on Thursday for the engineering students. Over 90 students from various engineering colleges in Eluru have attended this programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Valli Kumari, Chief Executive Officer of AP Innovation Society (APIS), said that APIS activities are booted up with iBootUp IoT series. Similarly, AP Innovation Society is going to conduct a series of programmes on data analytics and cyber security to instill confidence, create job opportunities, and nurture entrepreneurs among youth. She said that “iBootUp IoT Series” is a solid IoT Maker ecosystem in India

The government of Andhra Pradesh, which is always ahead in adopting new technologies, has already rolled out many initiatives in this regard. Joining with iB Hubs, a PAN-India startup hub, Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society is now conducting many capacity building programmes on various emerging technologies.

Kavya Dommeti, Director, iBuild Innovations India Ltd, said with a supportive ecosystem in the CR Reddy Engineering College, the team enlightened the students by giving them insights into “the future and impact of IoT, career opportunities, different verticals, IoT architecture and development boards.” “iB Hubs IoT HDK”, the in-house hardware development kit, is designed to be very user-friendly and gives a plug-and-play electronic prototyping experience, he informed.

He said that it’s equipped with on-board sensors and actuators, Wi-Fi SoC with antenna, RGB Pixel Ring, programmer and much more, all packed onto a single board.

“The series had shown impact and is going to impact thousands of passionate youth to become leaders in ‘Internet of Things’ and drive India forward for the next industrial revolution. Lack of skills will no longer to be a barrier as AP Innovation Society and iB Hubs IoT team are all set to make technology reach every nook and corner of the country,” said iB Director Kavya.
