Senior National Throwball Champ from Dec 24
Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) Vice-Chairman and Managing Director N Bangara Raju released the logo of 40th Senior National Throwball Championship in a programme organised at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation (IGMC) Stadium here on Tuesday.

Andhra Pradesh Throwball Association will conduct the prestigious tournament for men and women at Vikas Educational Institutions at Nunna near Vijayawada from December 24 to 27 with the support of SAAP.
Speaking on the occasion, VC&MD Bangara Raju said that with the support of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the state government is conducting several big tournaments in all disciplines. He informed that senior national athletics, archery and other tournaments were conducted in the state with participation of several hundred players from across the country.
Referring to throwball nationals, he said teams from 23 states are ready to participate in the championship which begins on December 24. He said 900 players may take part in the national event. Gannavaram MLA Dr Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan will inaugurate the four-day league cum knockout championship, he pointed out.
Andhra Pradesh State Yoga and Sports Coordinator P Ravindranadh, Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) joint secretary Durga Prasad, Andhra Pradesh Throwball Association president T Murali Krishnam Raju, secretary E Sulochana, senior handball coach Satyanarayana Raju and others participated in the logo inaugural function.
