Civic body earns 26.30 lakh in auction of shops

In the open auction, three persons vied with each other. The municipal authorities decided the bid in favour of G Nagayya Naidu for Rs 15.40 lakh.
Similarly, G Madhavi got the contract to run the weekly market for Rs 2.71 lakh, Radhakrishna got the contract of the bus stand shops for Rs 7.56 lakh while P Venkatasubbaiah bagged the contract of the abattoir for Rs 63,000. Manager T Kanaka Raju, RI B Harinath and R Penchalaiah and town planning officer Balaji participated in the auction.
