The Congress party internal elections will be held on April 7 and 8 in West Godavari district, said Aravind Pathak, district election observer of Congress Party.

Aravind Pathak was appointed as an election observer of the district by the AICC. He visited AI Bhimavaram village in Akiveedu mandal on Wednesday.
Speaking to newsmen at former MP Kanumuri Bapiraju’s house here on Wednesday, AICC observer Aravind Pathak said that the nominations will be received up to March 29 at Eluru and Bhimavaram for the elections of Youth Congress. He stated that the Constituency Committee Presidents, District Youth Congress elections would be conducted in the district. The State Committee elections will also be conducted, he added.
On April 9, the counting of Assembly constituency votes and on April 10, the Youth Congress Committee votes counting would be taken up, he added. He said that Ankem Sitaram filed his nomination for the District Youth Congress President and Somu Appala Raju filed nomination for the President post of Bhimavaram Assembly Constituency Congress Committee. Former MP Kanumuri Bapiraju, Congress leaders Jampana Subrahmanyamraju, Kollepara Lakshman Rao, Hameem, Ankem Sitaram participated in the media conference.
