Rajamahendravaram: BJP MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana has asked the government to speed up searching operations in River Godavari to trace out the bodies of missing persons who drowned in the river at Pasuvulanka village on Friday.
He along with Mummidivaram and Ramachandrapuram MLAs Datla Subba Raju and Thota Trimurthulu inspected the rescue operations on Monday. Terming the incident as an unfortunate thing, he underlined the need to extend necessary help to the family members of the deceased. The rescue operations were going in though the weather was not favourable, he added.
