Chandrababu Naidu to inaugurate International Horticulture Show-2018

Guntur: Horticulture department in association with Confederation of Indian Industry and International Competence Centre for Organic Agriculture will conduct International Horticulture Show-2018 at Siddhartha Engineering College in Vijayawada city from August 23 to 26. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the expo.
Addressing a press conference here, Horticulture Commissioner Chirajaneevi Chowdary said that about 200 exhibitors will exhibit their flowers, fruits and horticulture crops in the show. Best prize will be given to the best produce.
He said that horticulture scientists will give their suggestions to the farmers on how to get better yields. He said that they will conduct a competition to the farmers to select the best yield. Machines to be used in horticulture gardens will be exhibited at the horticulture show. He said that at present the farmers were raising horticulture crops in 41.87 lakh acres in the State.
