Guntur: Minister for Civil Supplies Prattipati Pulla Rao said that the civil supplies department will take steps to deliver essential commodities at the residence of the white ration card holders whose thumb impressions were not registered in the machine.
He inspected fair price shops in Guntur city on Monday and interacted with the beneficiaries.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that the government would take steps to distribute palm oil through the fair price shops.
He said that white card holders were expressing satisfaction over distribution of essential commodities. The aim of the government was to supply quality essential commodities to the beneficiaries.
The government would set up Anna Canteens in all Assembly constituencies and added that the government decided to increase the number of Anna Canteens.
MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy said that the government will take steps to sanction houses to all eligible.
Guntur Mirchi Yard chairman Mannava Subba Rao was also present.
