Visakhapatnam: The Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy participated in Independence Day celebrations at Erravaram village in the district on Wednesday.
Jagan hoisted the national flag near the camp at Erravaram junction, which was attended by YSRCP leaders, workers and supporters. Later, Jagan garlanded the portraits of freedom fighters and paid homage to the great leaders.
Remembering their contributions for the nation, he congratulated the people of the country on the occasion. Celebrating Independence Day, Jagan had taken a break from Praja Sankalpa Yatra on Wednesday. He would continue Padayatra as usual from Thursday morning from Erravaram village.
