Kakinada: As part of special sanitation drive in Kakinada city, the municipal sanitation authorities conducted the programme in Ramanayyapeta, Ramakrishnarao peta and Old Bus Stand area near Ambedkar Bhavan in Kakinada city.
The sanitary staff lifted the garbage piles, desilted drains and spilled oil in drains to avert the spread of mosquitoes. Municipal health officer Dr Y Ananta Kumar supervised the special drive in these areas. The special drive has been initiated to check seasonal diseases in the city.
