Ongole: Serving the community helps the students to learn leadership qualities and makes them leaders, said the NSS programme officer of Acharya Nagarjuna University campus in Ongole, on Tuesday.
The NSS division of the Acharya Nagarjuna University campus in Ongole conducted the environment protection and tree plantation activities in the campus.
The campus special officer, S Somasekhara said that the students should actively participate in the tree plantation and make the state as Harithandhra Pradesh.
Dr M Harsha Preetham Dev Kumar, programme officer of NSS said that by participating in the community service, students can achieve good behaviour and work for national integrity.
The NSS cadets and large number of students along with the teaching and non-teaching staff of the university campus also participated in the programme.
