Vizianagaram: The herd of elephants consisting of eight moved to Artham village in Komarada mandal in the district on Saturday.

Police and forest officials are planning to drive them away to Odisha.

The wild elephants are roaming in GL Puram and Garugubilli mandals for the past one week.

They injured two people one at Gijaba village and another one at Artham village. DFO P Lakshmana Rao advised the locals not to go closure to the elephants.
