Kakinada: The general body meeting of East Godavari Nayee Brahmin Welfare Association was organised at Gandhi Bhavan here on Sunday. General secretary of the organisation Sundarapalli Gopalakrishna submitted the annual report which was unanimously accepted.
The general body meeting while accepting the secretary report thanked Kakinada city MLA V Venkateswara Rao for providing necessary site of 380 yards and also funds to the tune of Rs 20 lash for construction of community hall for Nayee Brahmins from MLA funds in Kakinada. The meet passed several resolutions.
The association president, Tata Rao presided over the meet and association state honorary president Tummidi Ram Kumar attended as chief guest.
