House allotment through computer lottery system in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) has allotted flats to the beneficiaries through computer lottery system at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram here on Wednesday.
As part of this, allotment letters were given to two beneficiaries each from 50 divisions.
The flats were allotted to 3,959 beneficiaries in the first phase. Flats will be allotted to nearly 4,000 beneficiaries in the second phase under NTR Swagruha Housing Scheme and Prime Minister Avas Yojana Scheme.
Addressing the beneficiaries, rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary said that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was particular to provide
house to everyone and trying to complete the houses as early as possible.
The houses were being constructed with latest technology with all facilities and asked the beneficiaries to stay in the houses.
All the houses were being allotted through computer lottery system and there was no question of showing partiality in allotting flats, he said.
MLC Adireddy Appa Rao said the government was ready to purchase 100 acres of land to construct the houses to fulfill the demands of the people. There was no dearth of funds for construction of houses.
Vetrified tiles were used in the construction along with sharing technology.
Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai said that everyday many people were applying for houses and the corporation was ready to sanction houses to the applicants.
As there was no place in the city, the houses would be constructed on the outskirts of the city.
Corporation Commissioner Sumit Kumar informed that still about 23,000 applications were waiting for houses and all these persons would get house as early as possible.
The allotment of flats were done with transparency through computer lottery system, he added.
Godavari Urban Development Authority chairman Ganni Krishna, deputy mayor V Rambabu, YSRCP and TDP floor leaders Medpati Sharmila Reddy, Varre Srinivasa Rao, additional commissioner NVV Satyanarayana Rao, deputy commissioner T Rajagopala Rao and others were present.
