Workshop on CATIA, ANSYS begins in Bhimavaram
A three day workshop on CATIA and ANSYS began at DNR College of Engineering and Technology here on Thursday
Bhimavaram: A three-day workshop on CATIA and ANSYS began at DNR College of Engineering and Technology here on Thursday.
The college principal Dr U Ranga Raju inaugurated the workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the workshop was being conducted with experts from CAD Desk.
Skills, Real Time, Knowledge and Updated learning were the aspects confronting the students from the industry.
In order to overcome those aspects, the college had been imparting training to the students in the much needed courses in the market.
By knowing these courses, the students would be in a position to face practical challenges in industry apart from learning skills that would help them in facing interviews, he added.
Managing director of CAD Desk A Harikrishna said that their company experts would guide the students in getting hands-on experience on software like CATIA which was used first time in designing parts in automotive and aerospace engineering.
It gained significance in different areas of industry. Many big brands had been using CATIA as platform for primary engineering design.
Similarly, ANSYS was being extensively used in making semiconductors, he explained. Students and teaching staff were present.
