Vijayawada: A two-day workshop would be held on 'Leadership Opportunities for Professional Women; at Efftronics Auditorium, Brindavan Colony, Vijayawada on October 27 and 28, according to Efftronics Managing Director Dasari Ramakrishna here on Friday.
He said that the two-day workshop will be organised by IEEE Hyderabad Section (WIE) in collaboration with Guntur IEEE Sub Section.
The speakers of the programme include B Udaya Lakshmi, Vanitha Datla Vice-Chairperson, Elico, DCP B Rajakumari, V Naga Lakshmi, Joint MD of IMIS Pharma, Atreyi Choudhari, Partner-Group Head of Nomura research center, D Rama Krishna MD, Efftronics, ACP Sravani K, D Aparna from Aparna Jutes and Chandini Chandana, Co-Founder Avera Electric Vehicles will share their experiences with the participants.
He said that this workshop is mainly designed to boost the confidence levels of professional women, showing ways to overcome internal and external hurdles, pitch their dreams for highest positions in all sectors.
The topics and speakers have been chosen to show live examples of those woman leaders who reached high, despite all known and unknown obstacles, said Ramakrishna.
