Rajamahendravaram: YSRCP city coordinator R Suryaprakasa Rao has said that the party is giving importance to protect our traditions and culture.
Speaking to reporters at Press Club here on Friday, he said the rangoli competitions will be held at Subramanya Mydanam in the city on January 12 (Saturday) from 10 AM to 1 PM.
The interested women can register their names from 9 AM to 10 AM followed by rangoli competitions. Prizes will be given to the winners in the competitions. Rs 30,000 worth of a double door refrigerator will be given for first prize winner, Rs 20,000 worth of washing machine for second prize winner and Rs 10,000 worth of LED TV to third prize winner, he averred. He appealed to the interested women to participate in the competitions to get fabulous prizes.
Party leaders N Srinu, P Vijaya Lakshmi and others were present.
