Vijayawada: Rose Society of Andhra Pradesh (RSAP) and Haritha Priya Plant Lovers Society with the support of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation would organise a three-day fourth Agri-Horticulture Rose Show stating from January 23 at PWD Grounds.
As many as 1,000 plants with 500 varieties of roses will be showcased at the exhibition.
Speaking to the ‘The Hans India’ here on Sunday, Rose Society of Andhra Pradesh president Totakuri Akhilandeswari Rani said that they were expecting about 25,000 people to visit the Rose exhibition coming from various places in and around Vijayawada.
Several flower plants like Dahlia, Aeroponics, Marigold, Bougainvillea and other verities will be showcased in the exhibition.
She further informed that about 200 stalls will be set-up and vendors and nursery owners from across India will participate in the exhibition.
A Toys Fest with about one lakh toys (Bommala Koluvu) will be centre of attraction at the show which will be arranged by the Asakta Old Aged Home of Guntur district, she said.
