“The all-new Zest, a sub-four metre sedan, exudes excitement and energy. It is designed to give the driver total control of his vehicle. It is the first model from Tata Motors that clearly exemplifies the HorizonNext themes of DriveNext, DesignNext and ConnectNext,” Ashesh Dhar, National Sales Head (South and East), Tata Motors, told media here after launching the new model.

Available in nine trims – four diesel and five petrol, the Zest comes with Tata signature grille, projector headlamps with DRLs and dual-done dashboard. Other features include multi-drive mode, automatic manual transmission (AMT) in diesel, electric power steering and advanced infotainment system.

The diesel versions are powered by 1,248-cc engine that generates 90 PS power and 200 Nm torque. It offers a mileage of 23 kmpl. The petrol versions come with 1.2-litre Revotron engine which delivers 90 PS power and 140 Nm torque with ARAI-certified mileage rated at 17.6 kmpl.
