Offered with only one diesel engine option, Maruti Vitara Brezza mainly competes with the Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300. Maruti aims to manufacture 100,000 units of Vitara Brezza in the first year, and within 12-24 months, they plan on becoming segment leader with about 50% market share.

Maruti Vitara Brezza is built on a new platform which is lightweight and strong. It has allowed Maruti designers to provide an attractive SUVish exterior design with comfortable space on the inside.

List of features on offer with Maruti Vitara Brezza is also impressive. It comes with projector headlamps with LED DRLs, electric ORVM with integrated turn indicators, smartplay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, navigation, rear camera parking assist display, ambient lighting for instrument panel, steering mounted controls, auto AC, split rear seats, and much more.

Over the past few days, many readers have emailed questions asking how the Vitara Brezza competes with the likes of Baleno or VW Polo or Figo Aspire. On paper, the Brezza does stack up well, but it will be difficult to give a definite answer unless we test drive the car, which will be happening soon as the media test drives are scheduled over the next couple of days.
