MINI celebrates the original Austin Seven with a special edition hard top model.Price of the new MINI Seven7 Special Edition start from £18,545 (US$ 26781/INR 17,83,787) for the 3 door version while 5 door variant is priced at £19,145 (US$27648/INR 18,41,535). Offered in Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper D and Cooper SD trims, MINI Seven Special Edition goes on display at the 2016 Goodwood Festival in June.

Deliveries to commence later this year for buyers in US and Europe, MINI Seven7 Special Edition sees a host of styling upgrades and new color options.

Offered in Lapisluxury Blue, Pepper White, Midnight Black or British Racing Green colors, the new MINI special edition stands out with a Melting Silver contrasting roof and side mirror caps. Being a special edition, MINI also receives distinctive stripes across its bonnet in Melting Silver while badges proclaim its special edition on side indicator. As an option at an extra cost, the MINI Seven Special Edition can also be had with standard 17” wheels with 18” rims.

Interiors of MINI Seven Special Edition sees new sports seats in black leather and plaid, accentuated by Malt Brown accents on seats and armrests. Upholstery color options include Cross Punch Carbon Black, Lounge Satellite Grey or MINI Yours Lounge Carbon Black. Infotainment is via a 6.5” infotainment system with Harmon Kardon system while an 8.8” display offers navigation facilities.

MINI Seven Special Edition on 3 and 5 door body styles is powered by 1.5 liter 134 hp or 2.0 liter 189 hp engine options mated to 6-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed auto. While bookings open for buyers in the US, the MINI Seven is already on sale in the UK and it heads to the Goodwood Festival of Speed from the 23rd of June.
